The Eggshells Program is here to support Veteran Families in Canada who are affected by substance use disorder or addiction. Our goal is to help you heal, connect, and grow together.
Eggshells is a special program designed just for Veteran Families, provided by a compassionate Clinical Team. You can join the program from the comfort of your home using a secure internet connection.
In the program, you'll explore the emotions and behaviours that come with having a loved one who misuses substances or is in treatment for addiction. This includes feelings like denial, fear, guilt, and shame, as well as behaviours like avoidance, isolation, and withdrawal. You'll learn how to shift to healthier behaviours, such as setting boundaries, effective communication, self-care, and understanding the importance of family and community support in recovery.
The Eggshells Program includes 12 or 24 scheduled clinical hours of virtual group sessions, and Continuing Care; up to 16 hours of drop-in group sessions that help you stay connected with the Eggshells Team and your peers, reinforcing the recovery skills you develop during the program. We are here to support you every step of the way. Find a group that works best for you and your busy life. Choose from one of the many models offered:
