Counsellor

Donna has worked in the field of addiction for over 18 years. She designed and facilitated several of Canada’s premier family and children's programs during that time. Her skills and abilities are supported by her education in not only child/youth care and complex family systems, but also through her mentorship under the renowned expert in the field, Neal Berger, a veteran of treating substance use and mental health disorders across North America. With her extensive education and personal life experience, she exudes passion and dedication to those she serves. Donna’s ability to bring safety, compassion and connection to those she works with provides them with the opportunity to look inwards and truly heal from the throes of addiction. She gracefully does so through her lived family experience of generational Substance Use Disorder, providing information from her personal experience. With Donna’s down-to-earth and authentic delivery of recovery tools, she has offered countless individuals, families, communities and workplaces a genuine hope for recovery. She is grateful for her experience, education, and the privilege of witnessing transformed lives.
